I'm an electrical contractor, and I have used southwire products before and never had an issue until now. They have the absolute worst customer service I have ever received. Woods/ designers' edge retractable LED work light with receptacle is a product they sell, and I installed 3 of them at a mechanic garage. 2 of the 3 went bad and were under warranty. I reached out to the warranty department for a claim and sent all the information required of me. I had to call and email them multiple times for response because they're not responsive. Only to say the product is no longer available, period stop. That wasn't a good enough answer for me because the warranty should be honored or I should be refunded the money, and once again, I contacted them, and once again, no response!! I ended up reaching out in other avenues for help before someone assisted me. The only option that I was given was a fluorescent 6' corded light. I went from 30' retractable LED light with a receptacle for about $100 each to a 6' fluorescent corded light with no receptacle valued at $25 each. I ended up buying new retractable LED work lights for my customer. Absolute disgraced!!!
