Dr. Frodermann is a naturopathic physician. They look at the whole body, how each body system interacts with the others and treat with non-invasive, holistic modalities. For example, I had historically been low in vitamin D. My 'traditional' MD/ PCP kept telling me to 'take more vitamin D' like I was forgetting to do so. I was not forgetting, and was taking so much vitamin D on a daily basis, one of my family members mentioned you can actually overdose on vitamin D. This comment gave me pause to think about exactly how well, or unwell, my healthcare really was and began my search for a new health care provider. On my very first consultation with Dr. Frodermann, she knew exactly why I was always low on vitamin D, added a natural supplement to assist with absorption to my daily vitamin routine, and I have never been low on vitamin D since! All those years of 'take more!' was never going to fix the issue. I should have come to Dr. Frodermann sooner. This is just one example of how Dr. Frodermann has changed my health, and therefore my life. It is a health journey and she is an advocate helping to figure out what is needed to stay in good health as we age. I'm definitely not one to 'pop a pill' for what ails me. I'd much rather adjust my diet, add an exercise, take Epsom salt baths, make bone broth or use a caster oil pack for example if that is what it takes to feel good. I had searched the internet for years looking for ways to feel better. It's so much easier to meet with Dr. Frodermann, having the benefit of her wisdom and experience to point you in the right direction. The office offers high quality supplements and the prices are very competitive. At present all consultations are via tele-med (Skype for example) in order to keep everyone safe and supplement pick up is no-contact. Office hours are limited, and by appointment only. Give them a call, or send them an email. The staff are very friendly and helpful. In the state of RI, naturopaths are not covered by insurance although they are licensed by the state and the RI association of Naturopathic physicians is trying to arrange insurance coverage (You can check out rianp.org to find out how that process is going). In the mean time, if you wish to see a naturopath in RI, it is out of pocket. If you are not getting results from your PCP, are tired of always being tired, or just not feeling like anything you have tried is working, maybe it's time you add a naturopath to your health care family. I did and I will never look back!

Dr. Sheila is an awesome doc and it's just so sad that RI does not license them (yet). She took her time with me as a new patient and it not quick to just give you a "shut up and leave pill" so many traditional docs do. Her office is calm and her guidance is superb. She has been really awesome in responding to all of my questions even over email (how many docs do you know will do that?)

I've been a patient of Dr. Froderman for 4 or 5 years now. She helped me to overcome a medical issue which my doctor could not help me resolve. She is knowledgeable and thorough. I recommend her to family and friends all the time.

I called Dr. Frodermann for help for a friend who had a terrible bike accident. She does Bowen work which is great for brain trauma. The accupunturist returned my phone call and told me my friend would have to be a patient of Dr. Frodermann to get help and that she is not legally allowed to practice in hospitals. I then asked for the Dr. to call me so I could discuss other alternative therapies for my friend and the accupuncturist said she could help me with that and discussed homeopathy altho at this point, I just wanted a call back from the Dr. I then told the receptionist that we were not connecting and could she please give my number to the Dr as I would like to speak with her. Never heard back from the Dr. Don't know if she put my message thru or not.
