I was really hoping to enroll my toddler here but truthfully If I could give this a no star I would. I went for a tour of the school and as we opened the door to the stairwell to begin the tour there was a 12-14 month old little baby in a stairwell with no supervision!! No idea how that baby got there- more frightening is that the teachers did not even notice the child was gone.. we will not be choosing/entrusting cadence with the care of our child.

Please do not enroll your child here, or any cadence location at all! The kids are not well taken cared of, Ive seen things no parent ever wants to see and heard things no parent wants to hear. They have to scrounge for food or just feed them fruit for a snack for the children to eat because most times they have no snacks for the kids. Parents pay so much money for their kids to attend cadence and they dont even have food for the kids to eat! Makes my stomach turn the things Ive witnessed. The staff are all racist, I heard one old white lady employee talking about the black children who attend here so sickening! Oh and not to mention the director who hides behind the dumpster smoking a cigarette and gossiping with her employees, Ive caught them MANY times! and not to mention how loud and obnoxious she is! I wouldnt let my kids attend here even if it were free! Please dont enroll your kids here, I promise there are waaay better schools, your kid will end up playing all day long without any true education because all they hire is teens and people with no real early childhood education degree or experience! If I could give zero stars I would!! This place is filthy from the building to the staff it really should be shut down!

Our kids love Cadence Academy in Smithfield. From the first phone call, the enrollment, through pre-k graduation and everything in between, we have received top tier education. We feel safe, our kids feel loved AND liked and they are getting smarter every single day. We are so happy that we made the decision to come here. This is a great investment in our kids future. Thanks Cadence!!!
