I have to say of the three bids we received for new flooring, Empire was far the best option. They were they highest bid, but Bart the salesperson made us excited about the the project! He was a seasoned professional, came in uniform, he was prepared and he took his time with us; no rushing through his presentation. The first bid we received, was in and out in minutes, lets say 20; needed more training.The second, the women was very nice, but she was all over the place on her presentation and didnt know the product well. Bart was at the house for 2-3 hours because he conducted a thorough measuring inspection!
Now, Im giving Empire 4 stars because of poor communication among the other team members. I received a call that the installers were on there way, then I received another call from the home office inquiring about our bid. Wheres the communication on this project! Empire does give you plenty of notice when they are arriving, so I had time to get the dogs outside.The installers were fabulous, they were quick,cleaned up after themselves and the new floors looked great. They were short some flooring, so they needed to come back 2 days later, no problem. I told them i would be out for the day, if they could come first thing in the morning, no problem. The day to finish the install, morning comes, no installers,my husband calls, they would be here around 11a.m; next thing I knew the installers were in my driveway! I didnt have time to get out the dogs, I had to chase the puppy around the house to get him outside, plus the workers were afraid of the dogs, so they had to go outside. They were here for 10 minutes, all it took was a heads up and we could of avoided total chaos in the house!
Overall, I would definitely use Empire for your flooring needs and ask for BART!

Both my wife and I are very disappointed with Empire today. We made an appointment to get a quote on some flooring, they confirmed the appointment between 3-5, on the 27th. However, after waiting till 5 they never called, they never sent a text, nor did they ever show for the appointment. We had a wake at that started at 5, and we delayed our departure just to make sure we didn't miss the appointment. The next day when I called, I was quite upset and voiced my displeasure to the woman who answered. She was extremely insincere and stated, a call was made and no one confirmed. We doubled checked the phone and no confirmation was sent. I'm not sure how any company thinks they can keep a client when they can't even keep an appointment. I do not recommend this company based on my recent experience.

This is the worst experience I have ever had. Not only did they cancel our installation, it took more than 3 days for us to get someone on the phone. We were then told that the carpet we ordered is out of stock. This is the complete opposite of what we were told that a marketing manager cancelled our install date for 7/19 - without any call. I just called by chance to confirm the date to discover all of this. I would stay clear of Empire Carpet. The customer service is AWFUL. Anything has to be better than this place.

This review is not specific to this store but for Empire Today in general.
I looked online and it said there were no appointments available so I called and the phone opetator says, "there are no appointments available in your area. Try back in a day or 2." I asked if she thought a day or 2 would honestly make a difference and thats when she told me that they only do their schedule out 2 weeks! Its not that they are so awesome and just that high in demand, its that they literally only book 2 weeks at a time! It is absolutely crazy to me, especially when they have a lot of competition that is just as good, if not better.
I ended up going with National floors direct and they were awesome. I couldn't be happier.
