Sandy Shore Motel

The room was clean and the king bed was comfortable. The only thing the room did not have that I needed was a blow dryer, and the girl at Check in ( Melissa ) was pleasant and helpfulnot put out when I asked for one. Great experience Nearby activities: The Windjammer bar is not far from there if you are up for a drink and done dancingand there is are many great places to eat in town

We were paying weekly here. The sink leaked when we moved in. My better half fixed that issue. The owner walked in my room while my daughter and I were in bed, at 9 at night, he did not say a word and left. I did not know who he was until the following day when I asked the girl at the desk if someone else had a key to my room. The Wi-Fi was probably the worst I have used had to share my hot spot for my daughter to use her tablet. The driveway washed away, from a bomb cyclone. Then the toilet clogged, and started filling the shower. We were given a key to use a different rooms bathroom. I asked if we could get a discount for 1 week because of all of the issues. We were then told we had to move out on Christmas day with a child, and no where to go. Stephanie tried to help but the owner was adamant that we leave. Not to mention there is construction going on the whole time we were there, and it was barely quiet. This was a horrible heartbreaking experience. I absolutely can not believe what a Scrooge the owner was. Noteworthy details: The owner does not know how to treat guests.

1st visit, short visit to Sandy shore but frequent flyer to Misquamicut beach. This is a Motel style accommodations, as are all options in area but this motel is updated, modern, and ON the beach with a bar steps from your Clean, comfortable room. Party goers of all ages, as well as young families unite in Misquamicut. If you know you know. The front desk is staff by 2-3 very nice and helpful people, trying there best to clean and turnover rooms for a sold out hotel. As expected, they commit to a strict checkin/checkout policy. I only give 2 stars to set service expectations low because its a motel and they have limited staff wearing lots of hats. Cant wait to plan our next trip! Thank you! Rooms: Updated, Modern & comfortable to live & sleep. Busy motel, w/party people of all ages and families that are up all nighta fun expected vibe that I embraced but you should know before you go. My kids 22 & 18, and I enjoyed the days we spent but I wouldnt have felt the same when they were 12 &8 and I needed to get them to wind down for the night. With that said, plenty of families were staying at this hotel as well. Walkability: Yay! Youre at the beachwalk the beach or the sidewalk on the other side for hours. Food & drinks: So many Options: east, west, & northmaybe too many. Try the pizza & ice cream across the streetseafood anywhere and everywhere. and Sandy Shore beach bar, rum runnerI dont like rum either usually Cosmo, High noon, Titos, or wine
