Sweetwater Apartments

I needed help finding an apartment after a recent separation, and I only had to look one place! Dani is the best and helped me every step of the way to give me the application and within 3 days I was moved in. The grounds are beautiful, the pool is amazing! The view of the marsh and the activities Sweetwater provides is really an amazing place to live. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a great location and staff. 10 out 10 rating.

This Property is absolutely amazing!! The leasing staff as well as the maintenance crew have always gone above and beyond to help me. I really appreciate the hard working staff we have at Sweetwater! Thank you for making this an amazing experience for me! If you have any questions about anything at all Dani in the front office has always been a pleasure to work with and will go above and beyond to make it a great experience for you.

Sweetwater is so amazing. The views and the amenities are top notch. I heard about it through some friends so I decided to give it a shot and I was not disappointed. Dani, Olivia, and Alyssa were so helpful through the entire move in process. Theyre some of the best staff Ive ever encountered in my life dealing with apartments. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone that wants to live in a beautiful upscale apartment complex on the water. This place perfectly encapsulates what Charleston is about all in one little community. Yall are the best

!!DON'T LIVE HERE!! My experience with the management team has been abysmal. Despite discovering mold in our unit and following the complex's instructions to hire an industrial hygienist for testing, the manager, Alyssa, has consistently disregarded our concerns and documentation. The entire Sweetwater team has displayed carelessness and rudeness whenever we've tried to address the issue. The lack of respect and poor treatment from the management staff is truly shocking, especially considering the high rent we pay for what's supposed to be a luxury living experience at Sweetwater. Not to mention they don't take care of their amenities or buildings whatsoever.

This apartment complex has the bones to be such an amazing complex but the management team is by far one of the worst Ive been with. It makes me sad to leave but for the best. My neighbor has a serious mold problem they failed to address, causing health issues to them and their dog! Another neighbor below me had his car STOLEN from the property and they did not help out whatsoever. My elevator is always disgusting in the morning from trash, until someone in my building (I have done it before) goes in and swiffers the entire thing or until cleaning crews pop in every now and then.. They have an extremely high turnover rate in the office you can never keep track of who is in there. I too had to go to corporate and they have since ghosted me. I always paid my rent but was having an issue one time and they had zero flexibility or willingness to work with me. I IMPLORE you to look elsewhere. They continually tack on more to your rent without notice. (Getting charged for more when the dumpster is over flowing). Maintenance tried to fix my tub faucet to help with water pressure. Each time it started to leak again through the handle. I was locked out the other day at 10pm and tried to call for lock out services and go figure they do not provide any such thing. You are forced to pay a locksmith. Not sure how since they have 24hr emergency maintenance I wish they took care of the dog areas more too they are gross and prefer to keep mine out, and the fences are falling over so fear of them being able to jump out is real. They also have a dog wash but has not been usable since I moved in and to this day sit still just has a hose but doesnt reach in the tub.. they spend the money redoing the pool the same way and buying new furniture.. they actual residences need the upgrades. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Gorgeous views breaks my heart to be leaving here. I also never leave bad reviews trying to see the best but this place is deserving of it.
