I have lived here for nearly 5 years! It's the most magical place in the world! Remember this, the next time you honk at me for being careful kids! And we will be back right after this! Ernest Williamson III, Ph.D, (college teacher for over 15 years!) yeah I said it, in my older years I said it! Dang teenagers! Ok.

LC Germantown is LEGIT the best living experience I've had... and i've lived all over the USA in many different styles of places. If you're looking for easy living, with a sense of community, a polite / warm staff, a clean complex, all in a loving/walkable community LOOK NO FURTHER. The gym is incredible, world class! AND there is a shared work space so for those of you who WFH, you can get out of your place and retreat to a workspace FOR FREE!!! This place is the best.

I have enjoyed staying at LC but there have been some very frustrating issues. Here a few of the issues I've had: 1. Staff did not cancel my optional renters insurance after I obtained insurance from a third party. 2. It took several request to have copies of documents sent to me. 3. I had to keep my lease 30 days longer that I had planned due to hard to parse language in the lease. This was not explained well by staff until I told them I wanted to move out. 4. Staff was unable to answer question about the lease and I was asked to call back in 3 days instead of them following up and getting back to me. 5. My car was booted even though I had a permit to park. LC offered no remediation.. 6. Voicemails and emails regularly go unanswered. 7. False fire alarms are a regular occurrence. Often times late at night. 8. Management entered my apartment without notification or knocking. 9. Management would not specify what damage to an appliance resulted in a charge. 10. No move out checklist was provided 11. 3 construction sites and a concrete plant near the complex. Large trucks often woke me up at night and I somehow got dried concrete on my car. I've spent ~$1400 more than what I have planned. Extremely frustrating. If you live here make sure you read and understand the lease, document everything independently, and clean your apartment on move out even though you paid for it to be done professionally. They will assess the space before it is cleaned.
