I'm a returning visitor to this location. Everything from location to service such as breakfast etc was fine. The one thing i couldn't stand though were the stains on the carpet. Every time I saw them i felt disgust. That carpet needs changing. Institute a cleaning/damage fee for people who damage the rooms like that. Rooms : 3/5 | Service : 4/5 | Location : 4/5 More

This was probably a very nice hotel about 20 years ago, but upkeep is definitely lacking in much of the building. Our room was clean, and the bed was adequate, but kinda goes downhill from there.
When you arrive, you first notice a large corner chunk knocked off of the carport, which appears to be quite old damage. The lobby is nice enough, but good luck catching a desk clerk. They have one at a time on duty, and commonly have to go to other floors to handle issues. The breakfast dining area is nice, but staff is apparently a fan of mood lighting with breakfast. They only turned on 3 lights for a quite large area. The breakfast food was not horrible, but not great either; just life sustaining. Powdered eggs are not ever really great; just ask any military guy. The indoor pool was ice cold (not heated) as advertised. The water was very murky and had far too much chlorine in it. Lastly, the new policy for this hotel is no room cleanup or restocking unless your stay is 4 days or more. If you need more towels or anything, it's up to you to go down and get them. I'm not too lazy to do that, but the sign advising of this policy needs to be larger than a postcard.
Lesson learned...you get what you pay for.

Well, when we checked in were told to ask for anything we needed. I immediately had to go down for towels, even though I had written towels in the box of things I needed in my online reservation. I also needed tissues, because it was empty and toilet paper and also an ice bucket. We had a 4 day reservation. I was immediately questioned about why I needed towels, when there are 2? Because there are 4 of us, I said. Also, they are out of ice buckets? OK, next day, I go for towels again. I am met with more questions, because now I need 4 and washcloths. She literally said, "what are you doing with them?" Crazy!!!! I'm showering! Again, no ice buckets. There was literally no bucket until our last day! I was questioned about towels every single night when I went to get towels for the morning showers. The lights over the breakfast area were out, all of them! There wasn't any syrup for the waffles, they were out! The French toast seemed old and chewy. The washing machine was broken, but nobody said anything, even when I went to get quarters and said I was going to wash clothes. I ended up having to find a laundry mat. BTW, it was amazing! I was so impressed with that place. There were loose pieces of flooring in the elevator, I tripped my first time going in. We ordered queen beds, but if these are queens, the queen has lost some weight! It stunk so bad and was so hot in there! Also there was a guest who was smoking pot the whole time and they wouldn't make them leave. I could tell which room was ours by reminding our kids that ours had the biggest bleach stain in front of the door, like manhole sized! I don't recommend staying here, unless you have absolutely nowhere else to go first.
