Have had great experiences here with my tailoring and my dry cleaning. William helped me out with a super fast turnaround on my dry cleaning for a wedding. Definitely saved me, I will be a repeat customer for sure!

Love them! Use them for all my dry cleaning services! Just dropped off an expensive sweater that had multiple stains and they made it look like brand new. Over the moon about it!! Highly recommend!

We all know that we have choices when it comes to who we do business with, especially when it comes to those day to day and week to week tasks we Must do, such as grocery shopping, or going to the cleaners. Ive been going to Js for years, to handle my alterations, repairs, and my dry cleaning. Why? Because I know that every time I walk in Ill be greeted with a big smile, addressed with urgency and professionalism, and the work when I pick it up, will be consistently excellent. For an admittedly transactional relationship, its always pleasant. If youre like me, all good vibes matter. Now I have to mention Ive been in management and sales for decades, so I truly appreciate a person or business entity that Gets This- why a person spends their hard earned dollars, and their limited time in one estab versus another it boils down to Customer Experience. Im writing now to share my recent experience @ Js, because its worth knowing for any inquiring new customer, and it refreshed my memory on why shopping local is important, and that as a smaller local business, and any business, your people are your gold. Here goes: I rushed in, just about as soon as Js opened, and for me, right before more business travel. I had two items, one, a black linen label jacket, and another, a linen Sean John hat. It was my hope to restore both to sanity quickly as another trip was imminent. I walked in to see the smiling face of William, who reached for my items without a lick of judgment. The jacket, he took, no worries, but then, he saw the hat. It looked like, literally an elephant had Just sat on it. Can you do Anything I squeaked, To make it cute again? His first response was (logically), No- we cant But then, and heres the point of the share: He said, Let me just And he disappeared into the back. He was gone for several minutes, while I nervously checked my email. When he emerged, I could see he had my hat with him, a bowler version of herself, but a Hat again. As he set her down on the counter in front of me, he said: Our machine is set up in a way, I couldnt shape it, but I was Thrilled. I reached out and while she was warm I quickly popped her middle in, and making my way with my fingers toward her front, I made a quick crease, and BAMO- she was back. 100%. Oh wow, I said , I figured the jacket would be no problem, but the hat How much? William just waved me off. He seemed genuinely pleased to truly help me solve this problem, when neither one of us was initially sure he could. As he proceeded to tag the jacket, I told him I would write this review as a payment and thank you. Again, we have So many choices when we vote with our dollars. And gosh everyone knows, customer service is key. Yet lets be real, a robotic welcome in is sure to pop out after years of going to any place, and even the work product might fall short on a bad or busy day. Customer experience however, bridges that gap, and is what creates a customer for Life. Platforms cant create memories, people can. So in closing: I appreciate Js even more than I did before. I have sincere warmth in my heart for the company and staff. I believe that in service, business, and even in life, we might all aim to be a bit more like William.
