I had reserved a room here for March 21 because my daughter and I were coming to Waco for a play. We arrived and checked in to our room, put down our bags and had to leave to get dinner and get to the show on time. I should have looked at the room more closely. The man working the front desk was very nice. The hotel is in a convenient location next to the highway, but that meant a lot of truckers and what appeared to be single men were there. We returned to the room and that's when I noticed it had not been cleaned. The beds were made, but there was no mattress cover on one of them and there was hair in the bed. There was trash on the floor in the bathroom, the toilet was dirty, and the towels looked like they had been used. There was trash on the floor by the door. The dishwasher had been used and was full of dishes. There was still food in the fridge and freezer. Since it was a short drive home, we decided to just take our stuff and leave. The man at the desk was nice, but didn't ask why we were leaving early. I know there isn't an option for a refund since we technically put our stuff in the room, but it's not like it had been cleaned already anyway. Really disappointed for the price we paid. I wasn't expecting fancy, but I did at least expect it to be clean.

This is the only hotel that my husband & I stay at anytime we come to waco, They are all so sweet and very accommodating to anything we need! Rooms: Clean , very nice rooms Nearby activities: So many things to do in lacy-lakeview/bellmead or waco! Safety: Lock door after midnight awesome security Food & drinks: Nice selection of food or drinks by front desk!
