He never showed up. His wife, who answers his business phone said she would ask Louis if he could come over and look at my toilet issue after working in Park City all day but if he didn't show up that evening, he would for certain show up the next morning and his wife said she would call me right back if he is unable to to swing by my house to see what's going on with my toilet. I think his wife forgot. She never called me to inform me that the plumber could not make it over in the morning so I thought we were on. At 10:10AM the next morning, I called and the wife said he was already on his way to the Park City job and she doubts he can come by. I informed her that she "was supposed to call me the day before if he could not make it, now I'm another day behind to get a plumber out here". She didn't apologize, she was just like "oh well". Wow, you try to use local and they don't have the same loyalty to you, my needs are not of their concern at L&J Plumbing. The wife totally forgot about her commitment to my appointment. Apparently they don't need, nor want my business.

Had a clogged filter and needed someone to check it out. They were able to squeeze me in the same day I called on a Friday night. Louis was able to identify and fix the problem with no issues! Would recommend them to anyone with plumbing issues!

These folks were good to work with. The plumber told me the price before getting started. He worked the problem and kept at it even though the plumbing had been done incorrectly (by someone else). He tried several methods using different equipment and finally got through...whew! Thanks

Louis of L&J charges fair prices and does good work...if and when he shows up. He has been a no-show 3 out of the 4 times I've scheduled an appointment, with no prior cancellation or even a phone call on the day of, leaving me to chase him down to find out what happened. They're always very polite and apologetic, and I'll give them credit for that. But after today's no-show (for which I stayed home from work), I will no longer be using or recommending L & J. I hope they see this review and try to correct this issue, because they are one of only a few local plumbers and the work they do is not the problem.
