Its hard to find a house that accommodates this many people comfortably. Enough beds for our family of 25 with plenty of bathrooms and ample dining seating inside and out. The fridge and freezer in the main house are huge and theres a 2nd fridge in the casita kitchen. Everyone loved the pool, from ages 5-75! The slides are unexpectedly thrilling, even for older teens and adults. Lots of heights to jump from. Great speaker system out by the pool. Plenty of pool side chairs. A few other things we really appreciated were how many beach towels they have available, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of parking for 5 family size cars, and the extra pillows, blankets and pull out cots. We could only get 2 burners to work in the main house but were able to use the stove top in the casita. Would totally recommend as we really enjoyed our stay. If only staying 2 nights, you dont even need to leave for supplemental activities. Plenty to do right at the house.

The good (amazing) the bad and the ugly: The good was not just good, but amazing. Mollies landing delivered on everything we expected it to - spacious gathering, beautiful surroundings and a place for spectacular fun and making cherished family memories. The pool and slides were obviously the main attraction and even exceeded our expectations in the hours of fun, seclusion and beauty it provided for our family reunion. We had 26 people ages 1 - 68 and there was something for everyone. Everyone had a great time and wants to return. Rooms were spacious and the house well stocked. Lansdcape was well maintained and there were so many places to sit, seclude, relax, socialize and unwind. The home is beautiful inside and out and provided the perfect balance of togetherness and privacy for a large family gathering. The bad: For a place that could have been perfect (and had a price tag to justify it) we did encounter a few issues ranging from annoying to unacceptable. - the house has amazing design throughout but one surprising flaw is there is literally NO lighting in the dining area. At night we enjoy board games and cards but had to bring lamps From the bedrooms or use our cell phone lights to see the table. The outdoor patio and pickle ball court actually had better lighting (but also bats and insects which is why we stayed inside). - internet and phone service were unreliable. Some rooms didnt get service at all. - shower didnt drain in one bathroom. It was also the room that accommodated 12 people so it was problematic as you could not have back to back showers without flooding the bathroom. We did call maintenance and they said theyd send someone out. But nobody came. - broken air conditioning. Some of the rooms were unbearably hot at night during our August stay. There were multiple thermostats and the one controlling the bedrooms in the main house didnt work. Again we called maintenance but nobody was sent. Luckily there were some ceiling fans but not in the rooms with triple bunks (obviously). We found some relief with the one stand fan we found in a closet. - there is a grumpy neighbor who is obviously used to having inconsiderate guests annoy him. We observed quiet hours and fit all our cars on the driveway to be good neighbors, but he aggressively hurried out to yell at one of our adult guests who went for a walk to enjoy the Mountain Views for trespassing by stepping on his gravel. The UGLY: Hands down the worst part of our stay was the SEWER smell. The home is on septic and it is either full or malfunctioning. We again called to report the problem but it was not addressed during our four night stay. The intermittent gusts of toxic waste smell were an unfortunate interruption to our poolside meals and relaxation. Some areas of the pool deck were completely unusable due to the smell and the horrible smells would come and go frequently regardless of where you positioned yourself up or down wind. Occasionally we even got whiffs indoors like when using the kitchen disposal. We are pleasant, reasonable travelers and didnt allow the poopy situation to ruin our otherwise idyllic vacation but we certainly hope it will be a non-issue when we come back; because Mollies Landing is too spectacular a place to not want to return. ETA: although the management company was non-responsive during our stay, the owners were after seeing my review and my understanding is all the issues were quickly fixed. Hope to have a great stay next time we go.
