        Basic rooms. Clean and it's on price point for what you pay. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Safe, comfortable and affordable. Of course there are cheaper places (you get what you pay for) and of course there are more expensive places. This is budget friendly for business or casual visit. BONUS it was pet friendly when I was there. Nearby activities: Shelburne museum, VT Teddy Bear factory, Downtown Burlington, UVM, Restaurants,

        If the only amenity offered at a motel is a plunger in the bathroom grab your bags and leave. Not even an apology just blah blah blah how difficult it is to get a plumber on a Sunday evening and same story on a Monday because the room is occupied. When spending over 240 dollars a night for a room the toilet should at least work. Rooms: Had to plunge toilet ever time someone used toilet. Safety: Access to second floor open to anyone

The South Side Inn is consistently one of the most competitively priced hotels in the Chittenden county area, and for that reason, we are often full. Such was the case the two nights you booked with us. Because of this, we were unable to offer you another room. If you had chosen to leave, like your review recommends, we would have happily offered you a full refund and a recommendation for another hotel in the area.
