I stayed here a few years ago, pre-Covid. Well...not "stayed" exactly. We booked a room - sight unseen and without looking at reviews prior - and were in it for a tense 30-60 minutes or so while we frantically looked online for somewhere else to stay. Even for the time I was there I did not feel comfortable in this room and couldn't leave quickly enough. As we frantically looked online for a different place to stay, I pulled up the reviews for this place while we were in the seedy room that felt like a crime had happened in it. Seriously, looked around the room and just said, "What happened here?!" Wrinkled sheets that looked like they'd been used, and clearly they had been as there was blood on them, the crooked lamp with no shade... We did check the room for bedbugs, and did not find any signs of them...so at least that wasn't the reason for blood on the sheets? And while reading the reviews I found that we didn't get a bad room (which would be giving them great benefit of the doubt), this sort of thing just seemed to be the standard here. Lots of reviews about lack of privacy, shady business, feeling unsafe. Being there in that moment, reading the horror stories of people's stays: they're right. Trust the bad reviews on this place. This was beyond "maybe they didn't get a chance to clean." And they were not busy when we were there (I see why), so surely there were other rooms available - but I shudder to think of the state of any of them if this is the one the owner felt was fit for people to stay in. Thankfully he refunded us (without a big fight, as it seems others haven't been so lucky there), and we left to stay at the Quality Inn across the road. The reason I didn't leave a review at the time was I didn't want to be harassed, stalked, or get weird charges from the owner, which became a concern having read the reviews, and having been there (albeit briefly) and getting a feel for the place. Still have the photos I took while in the room though. Just an uneasy, uncomfortable motel experience. You know those scenes in cartoons where a character is running in place before taking off, disappearing in a cloud of dust? That'll be you if you book this place. Slingshot sound and all. You won't be able to get out fast enough. I'd advise against booking a room here. Unforgettable...not in a good way.

Really perfect if you want to sleep in your car ! After a delayed flight we arrived at midnight and we tried to call assistance of the hotel. No response. We had to sleep in our car because nobody was there. When we called tried to find a solution with this guy the next day, he was extremely aggressive and had zero empathy. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO RISK HAVING TO SLEEP IN A CAR. Very hostile owner.

Clean. Quiet. Party poppers were screened out. Excellent location. Good pricing. I did my research and figured this was the best all around hotel in Burlington during peak foliage reason. Owner was reasonable and nice. Had the best sleep here. Neighbors were reasonable. Was warm and cozy when I woke up, so adequate heating as well. Must bring on every trip-ear plugs and maybe some melatonin, and some thermal pants because in other places they dont give you heat all the time. Also recommend recommend not giving melatonin to your kids if you dont know the dosage, might be a good idea to ask a pharmacist or a doc for the dosage before you give it to your kid. Be aware that the first night you will not sleep well anywhere because you have a night watcher in one of your hemispheres that stays awake just in case you need to react to danger. Ear plugs help diminish the noise. Dont be that guy who blames their family members on every trip on the first day just because you couldnt sleep well, its not their fault. Plan ahead for maybe an extra day to accommodate your natural propensity to not sleep well and therefore not be in the top shape in your day on vacation.
