A pleasant, safe hotel. Service is friendly and place has a relaxing vibe. Room was pretty basic, but good for the night. Would book here again.

A nice historic building with a variety of room types. Photos and posters from the history of the hotel and town are all over, almost like a museum. Every floor has a few couches in a shared space, and the first floor has a shared kitchen. If you need to cook, the communal kitchen should be fine. The hotel has radiators that keep each room nice and toasty (in our case, a bit too warm) and windows that open wide. We opened our windows to cool the room down and it worked great. The downside of this is that the hotel is located about a block away from where a bunch of trains drive through and stop. Throughout the night there was some quiet train noise, but around 6 am they honked their horn. Bring earplugs! Nearby there are a bunch of cute little boutiques and art galleries. Note: if you get a queen and two twin room, the twin beds are stacked like a trundle. The second one is hidden.

Absolutely incredible experience at this hotel. Checked in a little after midnight after a four hour drive from Burlington, coming back from watching the eclipse. The woman at the front desk who checked us in was extremely kind, helpful, and understanding. The room was lovely, clean, and had a nice view. The furniture in the hotel is eclectic in such a fun way. We really enjoyed our brief stay at such a neat historic hotel.
