5 stars aren't enough for The Shire. My girlfriend and I were looking for somewhere to stay while we skied at Killington Mountain. We were thrilled to find a room at The Shire on such short notice. They were very accommodating, providing us with immense details and answered all our questions promptly. The rooms are clean, cozy, and up-to-date. Our second stay in 2023, we booked a Saturday night to ski on Sunday. When we learned about an incoming snowstorm, we called to see if we could book the same room for Friday night as well. The Shire not only upgraded our room, but they did so at an *extremely* gracious discount. The Shire has gained a forever customer!
