I had an awful experience. This elderly lady couldn't help me with anything. She's babbling about Chinese horoscopes in which I was focused on trying to scan an item to my email. She kept confusing the two of scanning and printing as being the same. I saw it was a losing battle to argue so I left there very frustrated and wished I didn't waste my valuable time there.

Lovely interior with fantastic computer equipment for you to make meaningful family videos and other documentation. It's amazing this is free. But honestly, I'd rather have to pay. Perhaps then this facility could be staffed by professionals instead of tired, under-trained volunteers (and their bored spouses), chomping at the bit to get out. The posted hours are NEVER the actual hours. It's beyond frustrating to figure out when the facility is open - a patchwork of strangely timed shifts, even if it was accurate.I like this facility because it's quiet, usually I'm the only visitor, and the research computers have that magical FHC status that allows you to view the locked digitized microfiche records in ancestry.com and familysearch.org. I was ready to be treated like a second class citizen because I am not LDS. But I wasn't ready to be shooed out like a stray cat because I was using the research computers in the back area, and not the fancy video rooms. It's a shame, because I've been the only visitor every time I go. Be ready for an early closing, and maybe make an appointment so they don't count on closing early?
