As a long-time lover of libraries, King County was/ is way ahead of its time for putting a library branch in a mall. That makes it very convenient to return/ pick up books while running other errands and gets people in touch with public libraries who may not otherwise visit one. I've lived in multiple states, have had over 20 library cards in different systems, but my home libraries (King and Seattle) will always have a place in my heart for instilling my love of reading and learning. No other system I've encountered thus far has put a library in a mall. For those who are annoyed by the size of this library, it's less meant for browsing than for picking up books. Get onto the King County Library system catalog and choose what you want. The librarians will collect those books (even if they are from different libraries) and have them waiting neatly on a shelf for you to come by and pick up. If you're visiting Crossroads and need a place for a break or just want a quick read, you can pick up a magazine or select a book off the admittedly limited number of shelves. As another commenter noted, there are 4 other libraries within a 10 mile distance, including the main Bellevue library (which has free parking).

A man constantly coughing no mask no covered his mouth. Saliva germs and bacteria spread everywhere. No one says anything; the librarians were deaf and blind. The man didn't apologize at all; he lied, saying it was his sore throat. The librarians didn't sanitize the computer table and surrounding area at all from noon until 8:00 p.m. and closed. The librarians could have offered him a mask of hand sanitizer. They were non-stop chit-chatting. They don't care because they will not use public computers and he didn't spread germs on librarians table and computer. The girls came to the same computer where a man left his germs, which the librarians didn't sanitize and kept chit-chatting. Librarians hated me because I told him to stay home if he was sick. Librarians who refused to help me showed attitude.
