I cannot recommend AMS as a supplier for LuxLap through my latest experience. Having seen the LuxLap product online and hearing great things - we were directed to the local distributor AMS for the pacific northwest region. It took 40 days to place an order, and on day 50 - we have no idea when its going to arrive. Tamara was unresponsive throughout the entire process and required multiple nudges, phone calls, and even escalation to LuxLap to respond to getting a PO issued. We wired the money the same day as the PO, and heard nothing for 2 weeks. We had to then again reach out and we still do not have an expected delivery date or even a rough timeline of when the material will arrive. Perhaps it was never in the AMS business plan to work with residential builders and that a $14,000 purchase order is an afterthought to their commercial side - but if this is an indication of how business is done - It might explain the lack of positive reviews in the last 5 years of business. In contract - we worked with Jed at Metal Roof Specialties (Fife) and that was a delight. Responsive, helpful, and set expectations on delivery - here is a photo of that order.
