What a great little hidden gem! My daughter (age 4) had her trial class (Jazz/Ballet), and the teacher was fantastic :) My daughter cannot wait to go back!

We are a military family and have gone to many different dance studios across the country between my two daughters. Inspired to Move has been the best overall experience of any. When we moved to the Lacey/Olympia area we were looking for a dance studio where my younger daughter could take recreational classes that provided actual instruction. Inspired to Move combines recreational and competition kids in their instructional classes, which guarantees that actual dance instruction is being given to all the students. This year my daughter started on the competition team. The schedule was clearly communicated and the fees were laid out well in advance for planning purposes. The mini/petite team was taught by Miss Nikia, who is very patient with the girls, most of whom had never been on a competition team before. The team has done well, but more than that it has been such a growth experience for my daughter, whose confidence and dance ability has really taken off this year. As a bonus, the studio is body positive and the costumes are age appropriate. Jeff and Christy Lund, the owners, seem to know every kid in their studio by name. They're friendly and on site almost every day. They've also been really patient with first time dance competition parents when we ask a lot of questions about how things work. Overall I am so glad we chose this studio when we moved here, and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in enrolling their child into dance.
