Beware! Danger! Do not hold any Solar loans with this company! This company is a fraud! Generations Credit Union is the worst bank I have ever dealt with in my entire life. They add legal fees to your loan with no judgement from a judge. If you fight them back they threaten you! I went to pay off my balance in full and they refunded payment of over 15k to add more legal fees. Black people, please advise and listen! Generations Credit Union is nothing more than a predator! They are racist white predators out to take what you have worked hard to earn. Do not do business with these crooks. I literally paid off my loan and they refunded it because they are nasty , racist predators. They are literally trying to hold me hostage. Im never changing this review! All of Washington DC is going to hear about this. The attorney they use is also a nasty racist crook and needs to be reported to the bar council. This matter is on going.

Used their online service, didn't visit the physical location. However, when I have called them they have been very helpful.

Working with them on my solar loan has been a nightmare. It took me months to even get a useable login to see my account on their website and they sent me NO information. All the information came from my solar installer. Their website has no features to allow me to change my payments or use my IRS solar refund to pay down my balance. When I email them for assistance, they tell me I need to call or come in. Since I work during their business hours it is difficult for me to get to their location downtown or wait long enough on the phone to actually talk to someone during my breaks. I wish they would sell my loan to a different servicer so I can actually pay it off. It seems like they make it harder to pay down the loan so they can make more off the interest. UPDATE: Generations Solar Loan services reached out to me and apparently since they updated their website at the end of April, I should now be able to pay down my loans from an external account. I have started the process of getting my external account verified and hope that the new feature works. I will update my rating here if it does because that would be a big improvement in the services they offer.
