Never had a bad experience w/Etsy until Iuliana (The Rainbow Colors is run by Iuliana Vintila, who has an Etsy shop). She delivered my invites late, then tried to deny it (processing times were in listing & messages). Then I was short 2 b/c they came damaged. Box was in perfect condition & didn't look squished, so I asked her to replace. She denied responsibility & offered a very small refund. I declined. I don't need a minor refund. I need invites for family to get. I offered to send the two invites back so long as she paid for shipping, so she wouldn't think I was trying to get 2 free ones. She wouldn't do it. Instead, she said she was "out of stock" but her listing was still up! The exact same materials would have been needed to fulfill orders of that listing. I opened a "dispute" (basically mediation for Etsy) & she agreed to replace them. HERE'S WHERE IT GETS UGLY! After I open the dispute on Etsy, I get an email from the "owner" saying I owe $209! Threatening to send me to collections if I didn't pay! Of course, I have receipts for everything and it's Etsy so everything is documented. She doesn't ship orders out without full payment. Essentially, it was a bullying tactic. The shop made a threat to send me to collections and ruin my credit b/c I filed a mediation request for her Etsy shop. I hadn't even left a bad review yet! I was waiting to see if we could resolve the issue prior to me deciding how to review her Etsy item online. After that threat, I obviously decided to give 1 star. What a bully!
