Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We love the variety and quality of the food at CB, and managed to beat the crowd on this Sunday morning. Tyrone was exceptional in taking care of us. Will ask for him next time. Also love the shopping, but store was filled with waiting customers to eat, and so will do that next time. Dietary restrictions: Vegetable varieties plentiful, and sugar-free syrup. Parking: Very substantial.

We love eating at Cracker Barrel. We frequent your restaurant atleast 4 times a month. Within the last month or so the service is becoming worse and worse! We were just there on August 20,22. We waited in line for 25 minutes. (there was only 2 of us) After being seated we waited another 15 minutes for a server. The waitress couldn't have been sweeter. She apologized for the wait, took our order and said she'd be right back with our drinks. Another 20 minutes passed before she returned. You could see that staffing was an issue because more then half the tables in our section had uncleaned tables. After 45 minutes of waiting for our food, our waitress came to our table and said it shouldn't be much longer. I asked her if she knew how long we had been waiting, she said yes, the cooks are taking the large tables first!!! So in other words they were just letting a party of 2 or 3 "just wait" (regardless how long they were already waiting) and serving the large tables FIRST!! Made absolutely no sense at all!!! So after ANOTHER 15 minutes we got our food! Which was disappointing in itself. Our pork chops were breaded and "rolled up". The taste wasn't bad, but they didn't look too appealing. I'm very sad to say that I don't think we'll be making your restaurant a priority when visiting the Dells. It was very disappointing.

Although the food was good, we waited an incredibly long time for it. We stopped on a Thursday for breakfast. The restaurant was not very busy and we got seated right away. Our order was taken within 5 minutes, and then we waited 55 minutes for it to be served.

First time eating at a cracker barrel gotta say it was overall a good experience, The food was just ok in my opinion the country fried steak was a bit lacking in flavor and the gravy was a bit starchy the potato casserole was great and the biscuits were delicious , the staff was fast and very attentive no complaints there probably the best part of my visit . The atmosphere and decorations are great I'll be back to try something different for sure.
