If you are in need of any deck remodeling services, we highly recommend Outdoor Living Unlimited! We were in need of a whole new deck, and Outdoor Living Unlimited exceeded our expectations. We are greatly satisfied with the final result. Not only does the deck look beautiful, but the crew was also very diligent in making sure that the project was completed on our desired timeline. Doug and his crew did an outstanding job replacing our two decks. It was obvious they had a lot of experience and knew how to work around any challenges or obstacles that arose. The workmanship was high quality, and any issues were dealt with quickly and professionally. We are very happy with the outcome and would not hesitate to use them again.

Update: After paying in full and my original review, we got our first rain, and we got a lot of water in the basement. It came in through where they did their work. We spent months using a shop vac and mopping up every time it rained, while their company suggested maybe we always had a water problem (no) and complained multiple times about my review and strongly suggested that if they fixed the water problem I'd give them a good review. They came out several times to attempt to fix, but their workmanship was terrible. Nails are now sticking out sideways from deck boards. Then they said they couldn't do anything else, but offered to quote a siding job. (They tried to turn the problem they caused into a new contract!! I couldn't believe it.) Due to that outlandish solution, and due to the poor workmanship on their "fixes" we determined we had to go elsewhere. We worked with a different vendor to fix, and that's not counting the work we still have to do to replace the pathway they dug up and didn't fix. We paid a lot of money for a poorly executed project. Original: If you want to try your hand at running a deck project but also pay the professionals, this company is for you! I initiated 90% of communication throughout the process. Stuff like "You said it might be this week and you'd let me know... any update?" and the answer is tomorrow... they just never took the initiative. The work was sloppy. They "finished" again with a big section of rubber lining exposed. I asked about it and he said he wasn't told to do that... I showed him it was listed in my contract, he called his guy and wound up doing it, but who would call it done with rubber lining exposed? This was one of several false finishes. When they were done, I had to email the project manager a list of things that were done very unprofessionally. Parts of the deck were uneven. Several corners were mitered poorly. Deck boards didn't come to the corner. There were gaps on the sides where animals could just use as a superhighway. Just really obvious stuff. If it had been a DIY job, it would have made since, but it wasn't a cheap project. And if I, a non-professional can see all these obvious issues, how can you trust everything else? They fixed the issues I found, and the end result is fine (so far). The process was not. I would not be able to recommend them to anyone. Service: Deck installation
