My husband and I climbed Kilimanjaro with Peak Planet, and it was an absolutely incredible experience. We cannot recommend Peak Planet enough. Our guides Andrew, Clarence, Kash, Baracka, and John, and our entire team of porters are the only reason we both summited and we cannot thank them enough. They went above and beyond to help us reach the top. From twice daily health checks to singing encouragement as we trudged up the mountain summit night, there is truly nothing else they could have done to improve our experience. When I came down with a cold and fever, they encouraged me to keep my spirits up, brought me dinner to my tent when I didn't feel like getting up, gave me cough drops to help my sore throat when I didn't have any of my own, and more. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable of the mountain; I never once felt unsafe. If you are interested in climbing Kilimanjaro, the best decision you can make is by climbing with Peak Planet. While other companies are probably fine, no other group's porters would meet them out on the trail to take their bags for the last 15 minutes or were singing songs of encouragement while hiking summit night! Peak Planet truly is the best and we cannot recommend them enough. We also went on a four day safari after the climb which was also amazing and we cannot recommend enough. We saw all of Africa's Big Five animals (elephant, lion, leopard, black rhino, cape buffalo), along with many others including cheetahs, zebras, hyenas, hippos, gazelle, wildebeests, many beautiful birds, and more. The lodges Peak Planet booked for us to stay on the luxury safari were absolutely beautiful as well. If you have the time to do a safari after your climb you absolutely should!

The ONLY outfitter you should choose for climbing the great Mount Kilimanjaro! We are so happy that we went with Peak Planet, the guides were blew us away with their knowledge of the mountain, safety procedures and motivational moments (which really came in handy on Summit Night). We couldn't have chosen better. All 10 members on our team made it to the top and we couldn't have done it without our incredible support team!

Peak Planet! No.1!! Not really sure where to start with this review... simply because there are so many good things to say! My husband and I successfully summited Kilimanjaro in February with Peak Planet. Our overall experience from booking, postponing (covid), pre trip coms, team briefing, the climb, the summit, descent, team debrief, post trip coms etc. They have been brilliant. Our team on Kili were phenomenal!! We had 44 people in total supporting a team of 12. That included our guides, porters, chefs, tent masters, toilet masters, waiters, and more. It would have been impossible to do without them! Our guides top priority was safety and they reiterated this to us a lot. This reassured us that we were in very safe and extremely capable hands. This message was always filtered down from our head guide Casper (boss man!) and his guides reinforced this. Throughout the whole hike, every day, the guides looked after us and kept our spirits high with their positive energy! The team at the camp also brought lots of positive energy and they genuinely wanted to see us succeed. Each and every one of Casper's team contributed to our whole team summiting. At camp, we were treated like royalty. I would say it was more along the lines of glamping! We had 3 hot cooked meals a day, (usually including starters) and a constant flow of hot drinks, which you really appreciate on a freezing cold mountain. As well as snacks in between and some days we would even get treated with a snack pack to hike with. Summit night, we had our guides and an additional 7 Summit porters. This meant that each of the team had a guide/porter supporting them and Casper leading. Within a few hours each guide/porter took our packs. Our guide Rebman took mine, even when I refused. Every pitstop he would come and find me, ensuring I was drinking and eating. He gave me his gloves (I had three pairs on) and sorted me out with hand warmers. He took my phone and took so many amazing pictures and videos. This was a blessing as at this point all you can focus on is putting one foot in front of the other! When reaching Uhuru Peak the whole team were celebrating for us and we're so genuinely happy for us. Upon descent Rebman wouldn't leave my side, due to the slippy scree, linking my arm ensuring I was safe right down to camp. What more could you ask for! Huge thank you to all our dedicated guides: Casper, Meshack, Rebman, Solomon, Denis and Isaak Not forgetting Tumaini and Ben that dealt with all of our bookings and paperwork, pre and post hike. Answering all of our questions, no matter how random or obvious. I felt I needed to go into this level of detail, as I have seen some negative reviews... please know, this was the single most incredible experience of my life and that's thanks to Peak Planet! No.1! Thank you all
