Cancelled my homeowners policy on a rental property citing a porch without a safety railing, dirty rain gutters, a unprotected swimming pool, rubbish in the yard, and a deck without a railing.In reality, the rental property's front porch is a concrete slab 1 inch above ground level, the house never has had rain gutters, there never has been a swimming pool there, no wooden deck, and the yard is clean and tidy.  They were contacted by the State of Alabama insurance regulators and they still did not take any action to correct the misrepresentations.  Their tactics resulted in me spending a significant amount of money to transfer all of my real-estate policies to another carrier. Watch out!  They dream up crazy reasons to cancel your homeowner's policies with little notice.
