Oxford Apartments

One stare is too much for these apartments, I lived 7 years here and it was the worst experience ever! We finally had the chance to move out thank God! They have the worst management ever, very bad repair services and a rude handyman, the apartments are infested with roaches and mice! They keep rising the rent even during the pandemic.

Super rude manger, does not reply when you ask for a repair, the price for the apartment is way too high for the space, lived there for more than 7 years, when I moved out they took my deposit to repair all the stuff they were avoiding to repair while we were living there. Roaches are everywhere and they can not control it, take my advice and stay away. I'm going to file a claim in court because this is not acceptable! By the way try to read the 5 stars reviews you will notice they are all saying the same thing that the bad reviews is because of the previous management and The WSB property management is way better. I mean how low they can get that they are paying those guys to write a good word for them.

Pros - Great location, nicely updated, good view of the hills of Belmont (my apartment is located on the Oxford street side), some friendly neighbors, pet friendly, safe and quiet area. Small gym which is generally empty. Common areas are kept clean. Major Con - Managers are not available the weekdays after 5:30pm or weekends. I had an emergency lock out and I was told (the next morning after I spent hours outside in the cold) tough and call a locksmith because it happened at 6:30pm at night. The locksmith was $140 and the management company absolutely refused to reimburse me or allow me to remove from my next month's rent. They were arrogant and condescending in their response. I'm asking for $140 reimbursement, which means nothing to them. I was planning on renewing my lease, but after this incident, I am looking for other places to live.

We were thrilled to find a dog friendly place close to the office. It's a small apartment, but it is big enough for two of us plus our dog. We love the wooden floors, the built in shelves, and the little fenced in area out front. The kitchen is small but there is decent enough storage space. The amenities are nice. We've made use of the pool, common area, and laundry room. It seems like no one uses the fitness room. I would definitely use it if there was a barbell in there. The bad reviews were posted when the apartments were managed by a different company. It is now under WSB, with whom we have had no issues. They have been very responsive to questions and maintenance calls. If we decide to stay in the bay area, it is very likely we will be renewing our lease!

This is a throwaway account because I still live at the property. I wouldn’t trust the owners/management property company. WSB property is owner managed. I live at 321 oxford way apartments. My friend moved out recently and told me he was paid to write good reviews and that if he knew anyone who would write a good review to tell Ben the property manager. I have lived at these apartments for two years and while the actual place is not bad, the property manager is quite rude. He was rude to me and a few others during the open house I went to when I first applied. When I had maintenance issues, I would never get a response. I had to fix my issues myself and ask the site managers for reimbursement DON’T TRUST THE REVIEWS.
