Missing Link Bicycle Cooperative

tldr: Just go to Sports Basement, its not worth having someone be rude to you bc you wanna support a local business. I have been to Missing Link twice now during the pandemic, both experiences were poor. First time I went because I had heard that they had community tools you could borrow. I asked someone there and he was so unbelievably rude only to tell me that due to the pandemic they didn't have a community tool station anymore. Like, was it necessary to be rude only to tell me that? On another day I needed to have a disk brake tightened onto a wheel with a tool I didn't have, I called them to ask if they could do this for me and the person on the phone (again rudely) told me that it would be 3-5 days before they could see/do the thing which would require 10 minutes max. I called Sports Basement and they told me to bring it in same day, did it in less than 5 minutes, and charged me nothing.

Great experience at Missing Link. My cross bike had several minor issues (brakes, derailleur alignment, loose pedals). They fixed them for a very reasonable price ($130 including new pedals and brake pad). What most impressed me was a previous bike shop had tried but failed to replace the pedals as they were rusted on -- clearly Missing Link has stronger mechanics (or better vices)!

Just bought my bike there and would absolutely recommend. Great help picking out the bike, then trying it out. They even helped me take it to my house, since I was riding my old bike.

Great place. I had a to get a tire replaced and innertube to get back out thier peddling and they took care of that no problem just walking in. No appointment necessary. Very professional place and helpful. They have everything you need for your and the staff is real polite. I will defenately be back for more parts and the service. Thank you
