Always empty shelves. If it ain’t on the shelf it ain’t selling-business 101. I’ve been here a total of 4 times this past month and 100% of the time I left without what I needed. Why? Well because they either didn’t carry it or simply shelf was empty and they “didn’t know when more came in.” It’s my friendly neighborhood k-mart and I would rather give them a 5 star review but geez-these shelves need restocking

KMART HAYWARD< CA will get 2,000 new living units, homes, apts, townhouse, condos in this next yr. building now No other dept store is here in HAYWARD. This store is necessary. Give it the paint job, fix the parking lot. You missed out on Christmas tree lot. SEARS at Southland Mall is getting 3, 000 new units also. The Mall NEEDS THIS CLEARANCE CENTER and store. WE can Keep KMART Alive if you paint it and tell people you are open. have joy in it. Peggy Guernsey Hayward, CA KMART IS CLOSING BY JAN 2020 The store has several good deals and unfortunately the staff is probably a closing staff. This store had every opportunity to be great again. Hayward Council members did nothing to save it. I did a bunch! We need a multi purpose dept/food store here with nursery products and will NOW PROBABLY NEVER GET ONE. KMARTS sales were good and vendor products were good quality. I have many in my home still quality. ANd grocery for staples. NOW WHAT DO WE GET? Rally around mid and south Hayward before we are all homes and NO RETAIL. You think KMART was high priced tried Trader Joes and Whole Foods. 99cent store and Grocery Outlet have quality produce!! and nursery items, but some is just cheap stuff too.
