My wife and I stayed here recently. The outside of the facility made me a little nervous, as did the very small office. The very friendly owner showed us to our cottage. All reservations gone. The cottages are simply amazing. Beautiful! Nicely decorated. Fire place. Cozy. We really loved it! The beach is a nice half block walk away. Two really good local restaurants less than a block away. Small little village setting. If ever back in the SF bay area, we will be sure to come back for a day or 2! Highly recommend for a nice quiet, romantic getaway for anyone looking to get away from the city atmosphere!

Stayed the night after biking in from SF, totally loved my time here. Heather up front was super kind and got us a room upgrade, which was so much more than we expected. Clean, neat, and we cooked some great food in the kitchen with supplies from the local grocer. Great selection of DVD's too, we watched Easy Rider (trash). When it was crabbing season, we decided to stay here and boil our crab in our room instead of making the long drive back home. I brought fresh scented Mrs. Meyers cleaning spray, so we didn't leave the kitchen dirty and smelly!The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils, but we brought our pot to make sure we had something big enough for our crabs.The room was super cozy, but the floor was a bit slanted. It wasn't a big deal though. The bathroom is also tiny. Again, not a deal breaker, but be aware if you're claustrophobic.It's a bit pricy since you're across from Stinson Beach. The location, kitchen, and outdoor garden/patio area were highlights of this place and made it worth the splurge.
