I went in to get my cat checked out who I had recently adopted for starters when I entered the building the lights were off and I was a little confused because I did figure they were closed because of that but the front doors were left unlocked by an employee so I didnt think that was my fault for walking in the building I was rudely told by an employee that they were closed until 10am I completely understood but didnt see a reason for her to be rude about it especially since it wasnt my fault the doors were unlocked I had no problem waiting I soon found out her name was Elma Agular I went up to the desk as soon as the doors were opened to get my cat looked at by a vet for his known upper respiratory issues he was having discharge from his nose and breathing heavy not even a week after adopting Elma tried to tell me I couldnt get him seen by the vet and it was now my issue to take him to the vet Ive already previously adopted and do know that the shelters normally follow up soon after adopting and that if there was an issue he could be seen I explained to her I noticed and did come to the shelter to get him looked at the day after I adopted him for his heavy breathing but the vet wasnt available and it was optional to bring him back is what I was told until a few days later I noticed the discharge after explaining is only then when she allowed me to see a vet which is terrible because she had no intention of helping me or my fur baby I was eventually given anti biotics for him and told that if theres an underlying issue I would have to take him to the vet which I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND overall Ivan was so much help and gave my cat the antibiotics he needs!!

I don't know how to leave a minus star, but just picked up my dog who got out, someone found her right away and took her to the pound.. it cost $450 to get her back, loaded with ridiculous extra fees, apparently you get punished for bringing her home, most people cannot afford that and would just leave them there for that price, I definitely can't afford it either, but they take advantage that you love your pet.. it definitely discourages anyone from saving their own pet if they get out..
