I live in a condo in SF. My shower plumbing leaked into the wall and had to be gutted out. Ultimately, I had to do a complete bathroom renovation. Initially, I was working with a contractor that was recommended by my insurance. That was a contractor from hell. I fired that insurance recommended contractor and started looking for another one online. I spoke with 5 different contractors and all of them except for S&L Remodeling tried to rip me off. One of the contractors I met with even required me to provide them with parking. The price point difference among these contractors ranged from 10,000 to 15,000. S&L gave me the lowest estimate.
Choosing to work with S&L Remodeling is one of the best decisions I made. There were some unavoidable hiccups (like inspection delay by the City) but it was smooth from beginning to end. Shay (the project manager) was very responsive. You can text, call, email him anytime. There were no hidden charges, everything was specified in black and white, and I knew exactly where my every single dollar was going. Luis (he did most of the work) was thorough, skillful, and most importantly, very trust worthy.
Finding the right contractor can make or break ones remodeling project. Fortunately, I stumbled upon S&L Remodeling. Highly recommended. Ask for Shay. He will take care of you. Service: Remodeling

S and L Remodeling replaced a bathtub with a walk-in shower and also upgraded the door to the bathroom, the bathroom sink/countertop/sidesplash, and ceiling light/fan. Tomer project managed the job with professionalism, always providing clear and timely information and staying in constant communication. Roberto was exceptional in figuring out and implementing a creative design for the shower tiles. I am very happy with the work and plan to call upon S and L's services next year when I do my next home improvement project. Tomer and Roberto have done a great job remodeling my entire house. The house has been completely transformed. It looks beautiful and functional. I appreciate the high quality of work they delivered but also the fact that they were always polite, accommodating and responsive to my concerns.
One advice I would give is to include all remodel items in detail in the contract otherwise theyll cost extra. terms pricing and pay schedule and scope of work they were fair and kept to the letter.

These guys were very responsive and hardworking. We were home the whole time and they were also as quiet as possible. The project manager Tomer was very calm and responsive, particularly, and was able to figure out how to solve various problems along the way. We had quite a big job, completely re-doing two bathrooms and the kitchen. The tiling was excellent and everything very clean. In the kitchen, they were able to salvage some of the nice things about the old kitchen, such as the marble countertop, stove top and sink, which meant they needed to order a kitchen to very precise measurements. Down to the line-up of the handles and doors, the kitchen was finished beautifully. They came in under cost estimate, which was also remarkable and handled all the dealings with permitting and the inspector as well as kept to the schedule. They also installed a subpanel and handled some double switching electrical work and installed recessed lighting. In the end the place was left clean and free of all garbage. Highly recommended! I am happy with the the result of my master bath remodel. It was a substantial project that took the bathroom out of commission for several months. From day 1, Tomer, Ricardo and the crew were courteous, and made sure the work space was kept clean and didn't encroach into the rest of the house. They pay attention to the details, communicated well about the schedule and did a fantastic job all the way around.
