I set up auto and renters insurance online / with a phone agent through Geico. I got a phonecall the next day from my local agent Kerry about the quote I filled out online. I told him I had already created an active policy with a different agent online. End conversation. My renters policy, set up through Geico, is with Assurance. I have been paying Geico for both auto and renters for the past 3 month (shows up in my bank statements and in the Geico App that I have completed all payments so far). I have been receiving billing statements from Travelers with Kerry's office header saying I haven't paid. I just got a cancelation notice due to non payment with a "final bill" (I have never held a policy with Travelers). After an hour of trying to reach the correct representative. Geico informed me this policy was created by Kerry 3 days after I set up my "real" Assurance Policy. I never gave Kerry any of my information, but he was still able to set up a separate policy.
This is fraud, I never gave him authority or information to set up policies under my name or Geico account. I'm sure he still got his commission though. How many people is Kerry scamming? Travelers was going to send my "bill" to collections if I just ignored it. Luckily Geico customer support was able to get to the bottom of the situation and erase the Travelers policy that should have never existed in the first place. Have had no issues with either Geico, Assurance, or Travelers. Only Kerry and his fraudulent business practices.

Great service, knowledgeable and professional through and through. Honesty is hard to find these days when it comes to insurance and Mr. OLeary made me feel like he was actually working for me. Recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their current coverage.
