The sale's person was friendly and responsive. However, the team never responds to phone calls. Certainly not to emails. Even when we wanted to upgrade, they didn't call back. If you need help, good luck with that. Once, after a lightening storm, we waited months for cervice with the need to frequently call and harass them. Unfortunately, because we used them for installation, we have to stick with them forever. No other company is willing to work with others installation.don't make the same mistake.

Solar Shingles were installed and don't work at all. Doug (the owner) is unresponsive to calls, Trevor and Joe both contractors for Southard are also unresponsive to calls. We can't get anyone to come out and service them. This bad review is a last ditch effort to get some sort of attention to our problem.

We used Southard to add solar to our house and had a great experience. Dan the sales and design guy is super knowledgeable and quickly answers emails. Price was very competitive and they completed project right on schedule. Highly recommended using them if you are thinking about solar for your house.

We went with Southards Solar after receiving 2 other estimates. Southards was more competitive and with premium panels. Dan was extremely helpful during the process. The installation went quick and we knew exactly what to expect throughout the process. They did an excellent job cleaning up after. Since we made our purchase, we had a couple of breakers trip and their support was pleasant and quick! Ive recommended Southards to several friends.

Southard Solar Energy & Construction is AMAZING. We had actually talked to two other companies beforehand and had had horrible experiences with both. Dan was absolutely wonderful to work with: very experienced, straightforward, and quick on communication. Though there are steps in the process that are out of their control (e.g. local permitting, utility meter switch), their installation team was incredibly fast, and working with Elevations Credit Union for the energy loan was very smooth too. Monitoring the panel performance online is super easy as well. I HIGHLY recommend Southard Solar Energy & Construction.
