DISHONEST, MISLEADING & UNRELIABLE!! (Appointment booked through Thumbtack) I received a text message confirming my appointment 2 hours prior to the scheduled time, with a message they were 30 mins behind schedule (totally acceptable). Then 10 minutes before scheduled time, AFTER I’d left work to drive to my home to meet them, the appointment was canceled. The entire experience was handled without an ounce of professionalism. At 12:30PM I received a text msg asking if I could reschedule until the following day because they would be “many hours late”to my 1PM appointment. I responded with a request that someone call me. The first person I spoke to stated that her boss was “busy” and could I explain what it was that I needed and that she would then take those questions to her boss and call me back with answers. I requested that she have her boss call me as that was a much more straightforward means of communicating. The next woman who called me, claimed to the “GM”, this was 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment. She explained that my job was a “lead” passed to them from another company and that the project should not have been accepted because I’m far outside the area they service. She had many excuses and reasons why they couldn’t make it at their scheduled time or on that day at all. Road conditions, car accidents, outside of their service area. All of these excuses contradicted their text message confirming their appointment earlier in the day. In the end they could not make it on that day at all. When I communicated with the company, through Thumbtack & later through text, I was quite clear; I needed the cleaning done on Thursday and had a 5 hour window of time to get it done. I explained I would be scheduling my day around their appointment and taking my afternoon meetings from home. I was clear that they should not take the project if they could not work within my window of time. With their assurances I passed on other cleaning companies. With only 10 minutes notice and having only a 5 hour window of time, I was unable to find another cleaning company to come out. I feel they were unprofessional in the handling of my project, made many excuses that seem to have been made up on the spot, committed to do a job and showed little care in canceling mere minutes before their appointment without any intention of completing the project on the scheduled day at all. Additionally I’m left to wonder why this company is stating my job came to them through a “lead” from another company...? I confirmed their company name on the call with the “GM”. That is indeed the company name listed here. All around this company is dishonest, misleading and unreliable!!
