Timberline Motel

Old school motel here. Great location to walk around downtown or to train station. Affordable price too. But older property with some maintenance issues. Owner/management appears to be working on it. Room had a vanity sink that didn’t drain and maintenance was unable (not available) to fix over two night stay. Ongoing construction/renovations in adjacent rooms until 10 pm. Probably no longer issues by the time this review is read. Sheets were old and had some stains. Time for replacement. Bring a fan and ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper, to drown out noise from adjacent main street. Would rent again if plumbing confirmed to work.

I’ve stayed here several times and it’s all good. Prices can vary and I think new owners might be trying to Jack them up and if so I’ll look elsewhere but so far so good. It’s older and basic. No AC but usually don’t need it. Location is good for sure but it’s also quite noisy at night with trucks going by so it’s a compromise but if you can get a good price it’s a good choice.
