Step off the metro and across the road and step in to Grand Hyatt Washington. Impressive entrance and efficient and very polite friendly service from beginning to end of our 4 night stay. The room was perfect and quite. We always like to be away from the elevator. Renovation work was not an issue as the hours were suited to our schedule. Highly recommend
Rooms: Comfortable and clean, turned off air conditioning and requested another blanket.

Do not stay at this hotel right now. We were told that there were renovations going on and it might be noisy during daytime hours. However, no one told us we would have no water during the day. We are on 7th floor and just learned from the hotel operator that the water goes off for 15 minutes and then comes back on. Not sure if this will happen 24 hours a day, but I suspect it might because it took 15 minutes last night to get warm wate, not hot, in the bathroom sink. Our toilet also leaks leaving water on the floor after flushing. The mattress feels like we are sloping into the headboard. This is Definitely NOT Grand.
