John Gorecki, MD - Neurosurgery Answer

Felt like a complete waste. Zero real effort to try and find the source of my problem. Ordered an MRI which I paid for and had done. Never heard from them for a month. Had to call to get appointment to review. This appointment was first time they opened MRI and spent about 2 minutes screening through it then basically told me good luck finding answers through the orthopedic Im also seeing.

Very good experience never will I see anyone else for my issues I was very scared to have my surgery but the doctor made it so clear to me of what he would be doing

John Gorecki and his staff are incredible. An injury in my lower back from the military drastically lowered my quality of life. Dr. Gorecki gave me my life back. Thank you so much.

I met Dr. John Gorecki over 30 years ago when I was a young surgical nurse at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. I watched him over and over as he improved the quality of life for so many people. And did it with such a loving and caring attitude. He treated the surgical staff the same way. John became like family. Thats the way he treated us. I even babysat for him. Im grateful I ran across his website and was able to read all the great reviews. We need many more physicians with the technical skills and caring attitude as John Gorecki. Selfishly, I would love to do one more case with him. Hope he sees this review. Wally Kennedy

If I could leave a review on no stars I would. My husband was referred to Dr. Gorecki in May of 2023. The first visit was very thorough. My husband has a lot of medical issues going on. But his back is the worst of it. He cant sit for long periods. He cant stand for more than 10 mins. Walks with a cane. He is 42. Hubby is overweight and we were advised he wouldnt be a candidate until some weight came off. Dr. Gorecki referred us to a slew of other specialists for his back and others and advised that filing for disability would probably be in his best interest at this point. Hesitant to do that at 42 my husband went back to work, or tried for another month or so. Come July we made the decision to file for disability with his employers full support because they knew first hand what kind of condition he was in. Now Im February 2024, we have lost our house, our car had to move in with someone and rent a room. Have been to more doctors and been poked and probed more that I can count. Our disability lawyer requested Dr. Gorecki answer some questions on some paper work. HE REFUSED!! Said they wont fill out any paperwork because he never had surgery and that they wont fill out anything to go towards a disability claim. We were appalled. The only reason he did file was because Dr. Gorecki advices it. TWICE! God as my witness I was sitting there when he did. Our lives have been uprooted and demolished. And now he doesnt want to back what he said. All we got today was a receptionist to say. Im sorry. I am completely disgusted with this doctor.
