This is the second major project that Andrew and his crew has done for us and, honestly, it has been nothing but a pleasure.  Andrew works side by side with his crew, knows every step of the progress, and is diligent in ALWAYS getting it done right.  He has a creative sense of design and was  helpful in honing ours.  At many points along the way he came up with  new ides that worked even better than we had envisioned.  His crew is hardworking, neat, and seem to actually enjoy what they are doing-even in the dusty, crazy demo phase.  The renovation has turned our VERY dated condo into a real home.  The project moved more quickly than expected and stayed within budget.They have made this  adventure a ball!

The quick version: We have found our FOREVER contractor. Andrew with ANLA Construction was incredibly professional, respectful, timely, hard-working, and the best value. We will be using him for every future project and would recommend him to all of our friends, family, and anyone looking for remodel work.The long version: Andrew was incredibly timely, from beginning to end: I received a same-day reply after initial request for services, followed by a scheduled estimate four days later. After we had decided to go with ANLA and had reached out to schedule our remodel, we were lucky enough to catch an opening the next week. Andrew was on time to the assessment and was either on time or early every day to work (seriously, that NEVER happens with contractors). I didn't count the exact number of days, but I know that from start to finish, Andrew had EVERYTHING completed in LESS THAN 18 days. Considering he did nearly everything himself (with the exception of electrical and plumbing work), this is quite impressive and speaks volumes to his work ethic.It was really important to me that we didn't have any number of random workers in and out of our house every day, so I especially appreciated that Andrew did everything himself (with the exception of plumbing and electrical). Andrew was respectful of my one-year-old's naps and nap schedule to an unheard of degree for a contractor. Whenever he showed up for the morning and had something "loud" planned during the day, he would always ask if or when my son was sleeping or when he would wake up. For any fellow parents of little ones out there, you know this is HUGE. Andrew did his best to keep noise levels down during nap times, and I am pleased (and impressed) to report that he NEVER woke my son.Andrew was incredibly patient with me during my decision making process. I am a very picky woman, ESPECIALLY when it comes to design work. I never felt pressured or rushed by Andrew to make a decision, even when it came down to the wire and he was waiting on me. In these instances (and there were many) Andrew was helpful and offered his professional opinion when asked. He would go out of his way to help me find the right products I needed (like shower hardware parts), and would even take time out of his own day/evening to send me email recommendations on parts at a great value.Andrew was wonderful with communication and was always reachable with a quick response time, whether via phone, email, or text.  To top it all, Andrew provided us with the best possible value. We now have our dream master bathroom and stayed within our budget. We couldn't have done either without Andrew. I never thought I would be so sad to see a contractor go; he was such a pleasure to do business with. It won't be long before we have him back for our next project! I could not give a higher recommendation. Andrew exceeded our expectations.

Everyone seems to have such nightmarish contractor stories. Are we the only people who LOVED our contractor? We hired Andrew and his team to completely remodel our spooky, nasty basement into a luxurious, cozy, stylish bathroom and bedroom suite. They were so talented, hardworking, honest and friendly. Andrew also has a great eye and added fantastic suggestions to our plans. His eye for space and design made the whole space so much more efficient and attractive. His work was done on time, (early actually,) and on budget. He was respectful of our time, budget and style. Last but not least, he and his crew were friendly, good natured and pleasant to have around. My five year old son was genuinely disappointed when construction was complete and his "contractor buddies" weren't there every morning. Do yourself a favor and hire these guys. You won't regret it for a minute.
