My home was flooded with seven feet of water in July, 2011.  I called the main Country Ins. line and reported the flood.  I also called my agent, Mike Salerno.   I have yet to receive a call back from him, although Country Insurance denied my claim.  My sump pump failed, but water also came in from the windows.  Because the flood was a "concurrent event," They refused to pay a dime.  I lost my furnace, washer and dryer, sump pump, hot water tank, furniture, electronics, Christmas ornaments,  my wedding album and baby photos of my only child.  I am out about $40,000.  The entire space had to be gutted.  Mike Salerno couldn't be bothered to even call to say he was sorry for my loss.  I have changed insurance companies, and now have flood insurance, but I still haven't received refunds for auto premiums and homeowner's insurance that Country owes me.
