My experience here was a negative one. I had entered the office to go into a job interview and I was monitored while getting coffee showing lack of trust. I was interviewed by employees that weren't apart of their human resources department so I had tech support employees interviewing me that didn't understand how to interview people for jobs at the company.
I had one guy try to tell me that I put an exam on my resume which isn't true. The parts I had on my resume were parts that I could do hands on and have done in a hands on professional environment at my trade school which included on the job training. This person did not give me a realistic situation to prove my problem solving skills.
I think its silly someone told me I had put a test on my resume when the department of labor did my resume. The department of labor is a bigger company then mitchell international & I guess the employees there think they understand how to read resume's which they DO NOT UNDERSTAND at all. I had a bunch of goons interviewing me because they didn't understand how to look at my resume because they lacked HR training they tried to tell me a company that has multiple employees who designed this resume specifically for the job I was applying for where wrong.
I had a professional company design my resume dedicated to getting people jobs there's no way I could work for a company that promotes this much ignorance in interviewing people. There is no way I can work for someone that has an employee trying to tell me whats wrong with my resume when they clearly don't know anything about resumes.
There hiring process was terrible their phone call interview was done in a room full of 11+ people talking at their max volume which their phone was muffled so I assume their products where faulty and they need to invest in new office hardware supplies. I did not like that I wasn't called back to assess if I had gotten the job or not. Usually when applying for jobs I like that I was not kept waiting to know this or not. I know I didn't get the job but the experience I had I could have done without it.
They also wanted my group to have call center experience which no one told me I needed to have before the interview... so why was I even there? That just wasted my time and a bunch of other peoples time because they said none of the people in my group had call center experience. This company will need to improve their HR department in the future.
