I'm not really a picky person but I did not like this place. The complimentary chips were salty and the salsa served with them was tasteless. It also seemed as if they had run out of everything. They had no sprites, bread for the tortas, or tripas & barbacoa for the tacos. I ended up ordering a burrito with carne asada (honestly, surprised they even had that) and was disappointed with how it tasted. I had to add a lot of lemon to give it any flavor. The only decent thing was our waitress. She was very nice and attentive.

My first time in La Frontera, I tried the tacos because I been craving tacos since I got here to Baton Rouge 2 weeks ago and they didn't disappoint. I had carne asada, pastor and tripas, definitely the tripas are numero 1, and second the carne asada, still have to try the rest of the menu. Definitely coming back to this place. P.S. Also has a store attached right next to it!
