The Bass Cottage Inn was amazing. With our large group of 14 (7 couples) we booked this Inn almost 1 year before our trip. They were very accommodating and the rooms were all unique and beautiful. The welcome from the staff when we arrived. Barbara is so friendly and really got to know our group, we felt at home she learned all of our first names and remembered them! I give her lots of credit for that!! The morning breakfasts were freshly baked and cooked and absolutely delicious. The owner is so friendly and Accommodating. Will definitely come again! I miss it already!

Bass Cottage Inn is a wonderful home away from home while you explore Bar Harbor and Acadia. If you want a good night's sleep, an amazing breakfast and knowledgeable staff that make you feel at home, this is the place for you. I stayed here for 3 nights recently while hiking Acadia and exploring the Maine coast. The location was perfect as you can walk pretty much anywhere in Bar Harbor. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and the inn was such a comfortable place to return to after a long day. The staff, especially Jill and Rya (sp?) had great, off the beaten path, recommendations for me to check out. I can't wait to return in the near future!
Walkability: Within walking distance to pretty much everything in Bar Harbor.

Excellent rooms, service, food, views.
Nearby activities: Close to Acadia and downtown
Food & drinks: Breakfast was amazing. Also has a happy hour every other night
