Eastern Bank

Very inexperienced staff. No customer service enthusiasm. Manager often busy or out of office and staff can only do basic functions. Find anther branch or a different bank.

Fantastic customer service by Glenn Rosengard, the branch manager. Attractive office, with Keurig coffee, and buffet tables, to relax. In the heart of Newton Centre, with plenty of parking nearby.

On October 5, 2012, Zahra Sedeghi put $15.00 into my personal checking account without my consent or permission. A violation. Eastern Bank did not detect her wrong doing until I filed a complain to the BBB and the bank headquarter. She is rude, dishonest, unprofessional and unethical. She told me never to come to her branch and to close my sons account and mine at a different branch office. She talks behind people's back and is not happy with people who come to exchange quarters for parking in Newton Center, especially the real estate agents/ brokers who come all the time.
