Kumon Math and Reading Center of SHREWSBURY

Spectacular place! The staff is wonderful aswell! I have been attending kumon as a mathematics student for roughly 5 years now, and math has been my strong-point ever since! While being in the kumon program, there have been drastic changes (good ones) in my speed and comprehension of mathematics. My knowledge in math has definitely enhanced due to attending kumon, and If you do not currently partake in kumon, then I suggest that you should :)

My two boys started Kumon with Joe the director September 2020. My older son who was then six years could only read 3 letter words but today, he is able to read any book he lays his hands on. My second boy who is 4 is reading simple words. I entreat all parents to give Kumon a try. Thanks Joe, you are the best.

I have had a very good experience here. My son does reading, and they have accomodated his needs and way of learning very nicely. Joe the owner is very flexible and helpful.

Ive worked at Kumon for the past couple of years and have been part of the math program since I was 11. The center is a perfect place for kids to get some extra knowledge about Math and Reading, and whats so great about this place is that kids can learn at their own pace. Because I was able to set my own pace, I was able to understand mathematics at a deeper level than if I had only learned at school. I was able to advance in the program beyond my grade-level, and because Kumon focuses on self-learning, I was able to develop my own ways of approaching problems without relying solely on taught formulas/theorems. This helped me greatly in math competitions. In regards to my work experience, Joe is an incredible boss who understands the priorities/commitments that most teenagers make in school and outside and does his best to accommodate all of our schedules. He really cares about all of his students and employees, and tries to help everyone regardless of skill level.

For the past 5 years I have worked at Kumon. I have been part of the math program since I was 11 years old. Through great staff and lots of practice my math skills increased tremendously and I was able to complete complex math problems ahead of my grade level at a fast pace. Kumon helped me develop a habit of practicing daily. Anything you want to perfect takes daily practice of that task. Kumon is the perfect program to help kids and students develop good independent study skills. Everyone works at their own pace, everyone is improving themselves everyday with practice. When I was 14 years old I was doing Calculus problems at Kumon. This is when I got a job at Kumon. Joe helped me gain work experience at a young age and helped me develop social and teaching skills at a young age. Kumon helped me mentaly, physically, and spiritually. Kumon helps change your life habits not just in education but all kinds of good habits! Joe cares a lot about all of his students and employees and helps everyone entering the program regardless of skill level.
