NorthStar Apartments in Dinkytown

I have loved my time at Northstar! The landlords are so nice & try to make your experience as great as possible! Love having access 2 Rooftops with a nice view of the city & great for hanging out by the fire with friends!

I dont know of anywhere else where the landlords know all of their tenants by name in a place as large as this. They truly care about you and go out of their way to make our time living here comfortable.

I really enjoyed living at Northstar. From bagel Fridays to the friendly staff, it made for a very enjoyable location to live. The apartments have really unique features and if you make it up to the roof, you see the gorgeous Minneapolis skyline. Loved it here!

Northstar has been a great place to live for the past three years. The landlords are very kind and make it a point to get to know their tenants. Northstar is in a great location being close to campus but off a busy road. The apartments have great character and are very spacious!

Northstar Dinkytown Review I wanted to share a story about my interaction with the developer of Northstar Dinkytown (Greg Jansma) and why I so highly recommend Northstar Dinkytown. Specifically, my son lived in Northstar in the summer of 2022 and the property and location are great. However, what made the experience even better was seeing what makes Greg such a great person and somebody I think you should feel very reassured about having your son or daughter live there. Specifically, when I went to pick up my son for the summer, we developed a flat tire upon arrival at Dinkytown and the tire literally ran out of air while I was in Gregs underground garage. Due to the amount of concrete, I could not easily a make an outbound call for help nor look at anything on the internet. I was did not have access to any tools other than the less than ideal roadside kit that came with my car. Also my spare time was so low on air that the car was not driveable. Fortunately, Greg saw that we were in trouble and offered to help. All on his own, he quickly volunteered to take my damaged tire to see if it could be repaired. Once it was determined it could not be, he then made arrangements to buy me a new replacement tire which he personally delivered to me and installed less than 12 hours later. He even put the cost of the tire (with zero profit) on my sons final bill. We had an 7 hour plus drive home that same day and could not start packing the car until we got the new tire on plus the spare back in and we could NOT have done this without Greg. He even had his two kids helping me the next morning also and his older son also filled up my spare tire. I have rarely seen anyone with his level of compassion and sense of urgency to help others. As mentioned earlier, I highly recommend Northstar Dinkytown. Thank you Greg! You rock!
