I went to Stribling Tax last year and it seemed fine. This year, I took my tax documents in on Feb 01. While I was in the office I was rudely snapped at about using affordable health care on my taxes which currently is Federal Law and vetted in justification to sign up for. I had the forms for it and this accountant didn't bother to look at them before offering his commentary on the program. I asked if this was a problem and if I should go elsewhere and he stopped his little tirade and said it was fine. So I decided to leave the taxes since the tax service was fine the previous year. I checked backed five times about my taxes being done and nothing was accomplished. Never a phone call, nothing, always just they are in the stack and will be done by the end of the week. On March 21st, i went in again because I was going to be gone the month of April and needed the taxes completed. I said I would need to either pick up my paperwork or have a specific date when taxes would be completed. The lady again said "they would call" because she didn't know where my forms were. Then the accountant called and said he had called.....never!!!... in my opinion that is odd to say considering electronic phone logs.....and he once again babbled about his "ethical problem" with Obamacare. Truly inappropriate and unprofessional. If he wasn't going to do the work he should of said that Feb 01 and not taken the business. Very unpleasant experience.......I guess he is trying to provide an authentic unpleasant tax experience....lol.
