I now live on the central Oregon coast and have often used the Newport Airport location to both collect and drop one-way rentals (I regularly fly in/out of PDX on business and hold 'Presidents Circle with Hertz and Exec Elite with National/Enterprise) for over 4 years and I really appreciate the service that Hertz provide to this community at this location.. I have had to make quite a few 'mental adjustments' to living on the coast, but fortunately the service that I have received here by both Hertz and the Airport staff has not had to have been one of them :) Friendly and efficient (3rd party) Newport Airport staff administrate this relatively remote rental location on behalf of Hertz, they are open 6 days a week with limited hours on the weekend (9-12am on a Saturday). This is not the usual Hertz 'full service' type of location and cars need to be booked in advance for both 'Pickup' and 'Drop'. I plan accordingly, book online and have never had an issue or poor service with either party. The inland Hertz office staff (Corvallis?) that facilitated this weeks' one-way rental pickup for myself were fantastic with dealing with a query that I had and I thoroughly recommend that this service location that Hertz provide continue to be well supported by all.
