We have been going to Jackson Hewitt for 18 years I have been very happy with the service and will becoming back!! We recommend Keith Evans been with him for 16 years never did us wrong.

Four stars for Keith Evans, A good man , however 1 star for Jackson Hewitt , April 6th we had an appt at 11;00 at the Sandy office in Sandy. When we arrived the main office scheduled us for 1/2 hr. appt. Keith said we needed an hr. So he asked if he could scan copies and work on them, we were not thrilled with leaving our information there but he said it would definetly be safe and locked up. Then the following week we would only have to come in and sign, in & out... So we agreed. Keith scanned copies of our folder contents before putting the folder away. We returned the following weekend April 13th, When Keith went to get our folder out it was gone. That was disturbing, seems a Ryan Cook was there Wed, going through the folders. reviewing or something. And took our's and other peoples information to the Stark St. location. Knowing Keith's clients were coming back that weekend to the Sandy location to finish up .. Ryan should of returned everyones information back to the Sandy office before Sat the 13th. So our in and out signing became a 2 1/2 hr waiting. While Keith was doing our taxes with what info he had , he kept calling Ryan to find out why the folders were taken. Ryan said he would have them up there in Sandy within 30- 60 min. No show, no call . Husband went back 2 times wanting to get our information back in our hands. Called a Frank Gorski to inform him a lot of people in Sandy were very upset about their personal info leaving that office.They were not upset with Keith, Keith was falling behind because lack of information in those folders.People were upset with this Ryan Cook for taking personal information out of Sandy location. We were Keith's clients , that information should of stayed with Keith and the Sandy office. Ryan mentioned on phone to me that he took peoples information to help reduce the work load for Keith, ridiculious , it created a back log of appts running into other appts and walk in's as well. BS - seems like a set up . Because the Sandy office was lacking information from those papers that were missing. . Other wise Keith would of been on schedule , pretty much. . So maybe they should of had 1 tax preparer do appt's and one tax preparer to do walk in's. Now that would of helped . I think people are re-thinking Jackson Hewitt next year. When my husband left the 2nd time he noticed a walk in came in with a paper grocery bag of receipts. So I'm sure Keith was there longer than anticipated. We signed up for the deluxe worry free program, because that day was a fiasco, which could of been prevented. In case anything comes back at us. And bravo to Keith for having his game face on. Despite the lack of.
And due to the fact that this was the last day for taxes in the Sandy office.
