M. Resnick Plumbing

He and his General Contractor scammed us. Murray was hired but did a laughable job. Then demanded we pay him more. He never even got inspected which is a clear sign he is a scam artist although he took out permits. Please contact his insurance if you interact with him. Anyone that say he did a good job works for him or is his friend or family member.

Unfortunately I had a horrible experience with this plumber. Horrible is not the word. Took him two months to finish a simple plumbing job and still did not finish till this day. Was patient. Save your money and go elsewhere trust me I gave this guy a chance despite the two negative reviews before me and I got burned just like them.

I've called on Mr Resnick once 8 years ago and again twice in the he last week . Absolutely amazing in his responsiveness and work . Would recommend him to everyone.

I highly recommend Murray. I hired him directly (not through a GC) about a year ago to do a rather large job. I was doing a full rehab of my house. I wanted to be careful of who was in my home and was wary of getting ripped off. Murray's prices are competitive and he's an experienced plumber, 2 of the reasons why i hired him. Because i didn't use a GC, i had to coordinate all the work being done myself. Murray was very good about communication which helped me to coordinate plumbing, drywall, and electrical work. I learned from working with Murray that I could trust him. And he's actually a nice guy who cares about making sure customers are happy with the work he does. Murray was responsive to my concerns and made great recommendations on the bathroom addition. He's willing to take the extra time to be detail oriented and make sure everything is done right. The bathroom he did has great water pressure in the shower, toilet has a powerful flush. Of all the contractors i dealt with doing work on my house, he stands out. I wouldn't hire any other plumber. As far as the previous review with a general contractor coordinating and managing the plumbing work, it sounds like the issue was with the GC. It's understandable you're upset but your anger is misdirected. Services: Toilet installation, Plumbing leak detection, Shower installation

Stay away!  I hired Resnick to install a new drain for my washing machine.  He arrived 5 hours late to do the job... but I needed it done, so I dealt with the tardiness.  The day after he left one of the joints in the basement completely came apart (turned out it was never put together correctly in the first place).  Now I had a non functioning drain, and sewer gas venting into my house.  I called Murray and told him what happened, and I was told he would be out the next afternoon to fix it.  He never called, or showed up (that was a friday).  So on Sunday I called him again, and he said he would be out on Monday - he would call when he was heading over.  Well, that call never came... in fact it has been over a month now, and I have never heard from Murray again.  All I ask is that a person does the job they are paid to do.  I paid the price that he asked, but Murray did not complete the job.  Knowing that his work fell apart... he refused to stand behind his work or his name.  Instead he made promises to come and fix it, and then just never showed up.  I guess since my check cleared, that was all you needed Murray?  I was forced to hire another plumber to fix his work.
